We live in an increasingly litigious world. At the same time, in both the corporate and personal environments, the pace and volume of new and evermore complex legislation continues to accelerate.
Thus, the need for professional advice and assistance has never been greater for our institutional, corporate and private clients.
Many professionals and financial institutions such as international banks, lawyers, insurance companies, insolvency practitioners and regulatory authorities often require input from other specialist professional practices such as ourselves so that they themselves can then proffer the best advice to their clients.
Echelon Forensic Accounting is a leading specialist practice providing such input to its clients.
No two engagements are the same but our fields of expertise include:
Our team specialises in conducting a thorough review and analysis of incomplete financial and commercial records. In many complex situations, such as commercial disputes, fraud investigations, or business insolvencies, key documents may be missing, poorly maintained, or deliberately obscured. We meticulously examine all available data, from bank statements and invoices to digital correspondence, to identify inconsistencies and uncover the true financial position.
Reviewing verbal & written representations made by management or individuals. In the absence of documentary records Echelon will review these representations, attempt to validate them and report thereon. All such reports remain entirely strictly confidential between ourselves and the instructing client. The practice, if requested, will engage directly with regulatory bodies on behalf of clients and attend meetings as required. Such bodies include taxation authorities, government departments and professional conduct regulators.
Our associates have extensive experience in many sectors relating to regulatory compliance and anti money laundering matters impacting on a client, subsequently reporting thereon. Such work extends into the fields of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation and appropriate territory data protection regulations.
Please note that Echelon Forensic Accounting holds Professional Indemnity insurance with a leading United Kingdom insurer. The cover level is currently for £5 million GBP per claim event which can be increased, if required. Neither the practice nor its retained associates have any claims experience, adverse or otherwise.
