Echelon consists of ex-bankers, accountants, attorneys, software developers, electrical engineers, and, possibly more importantly, a team of brokers/traders led by a Securities Trader who has been marketing and selling investment opportunities for over 40 years. We understand the regulatory, legal and financial parameters surrounding financial promotions very well.

Why is Echelon different?

Over 70% of Echelon’s clients are SME’s (Small and Medium Enterprises) looking to raise funds for a business venture. This means that on many occasions, cashflow might not be readily available to pay consultancy fees.

It is a testament to Echelon’s success that our company doesn’t rely on consultancy fees as our main source of revenue. Sounds strange for a consultancy company?

• It’s not that we are altruistic in our approach, far from it; we just recognise that if our client’s business-model is solid and we are confident in the quality and success rate of the services we provide, we should be happy to take a performance-related remuneration.
• In many instances, Echelon will agree to provide services on either a JV or equity-share basis. This means that we share in each other’s success and experience, but also allows our clients to utilise much-needed early cashflow elsewhere.

The JV Model:
In the last 5 years, the Echelon Group has amassed $83m in Gross Assets, $59m in Net Assets, a $235m renewable energy pipeline, and a 50% share in a gold mine with estimated gold deposits of 480,000 ounces. Echelon also owns 50% of RA-ESG PLC, a global sustainable energy company with 19 infrastructure-grade solar projects of national importance.
Non-equity consultancy fees during the same time period have reached $2.1m. It’s therefore easy to see Echelon’s core focus; we engage and build successful companies with our clientele, and retain equity as a long-term investment.
